This neat YouTube video puts a twist on an Internet meme. Internet memes are those strange clips that, for whatever reason, become hugely popular. Piano-playing cats is a great example.

There are many piano-playing cats on YouTube. But Nora the cat is probably the most popular. She caught the eyes of Lithuanian conductor Mindaugas Piecaitis. He decided to write a full orchestral piece to accompany her.

The result is this Catcerto (as opposed to concerto). Now, Nora is no virtuoso. She pretty much pounds on the keys at random. But with skillful orchestral backing, it all sounds intentional. It’s amazing what you can do with a silly YouTube video. (courtesy of kimkomando.com)

Cat lovers will really enjoy this YouTube video. English animator Simon Tofield is the creator of Simon’s Cat. The collection of short cartoons has won several awards. After watching this, you’ll know why.

Tofield really knows cats. He’s got their personalities down pat. And any cat owner will see that immediately. This video has a very simple premise. Simon’s cat is chasing a buzzing fly.
